The objectives of this course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(ii) or 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(iii) for General Industry, and 1926.65(e)(3)(ii) or 1926.65(e)(3)(iii) for Construction.

OSHA 32 Hour HAZWOPER

The objectives of this course are to meet the first 32 hours of the required 40 hour level for the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) for General Industry and 1926.65(e)(3)(i) for Construction.

Online Department of Transportation (DOT) Course Options

DOT Hazmat: Advanced General Awareness
(10 Hour)

This DOT Hazmat General Awareness/Function Specific course is an in-depth course for all employees involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

This training is a 10-hour course targeted for workers with the intention of meeting General Awareness training requirement as well as several Function-specific Training requirements in addition to the basic requirements met by our 4-hour DOT Hazmat Basic General Awareness course.

DOT Hazmat: Basic
General Awareness
(4 Hour)

This DOT Hazmat: Basic General Awareness course is an introductory course for all employees involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

This course provides a basic introduction to General Awareness compared to the Advanced instruction that includes some General Awareness topics in greater detail. This course also includes the DOT mandated Security Awareness training module.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Hazard Classes and Divisions

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Hazard Classes and Divisions course will familiarize students with each of the 9 DOT classes and their divisions.

The objectives of this course are to help meet the DOT training requirements of 49 CFR 172.704(a)(2)(i).

DOT Hazmat: Security Awareness

This course is the DOT Hazmat: Security Awareness training that is part of the core curriculum for DOT Hazmat transportation training. In the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Department of Transportation has made Security Awareness part of General Awareness training.

This training is also available as part of DOT Hazmat Basic General Awareness Training (4 Hour) and DOT Hazmat Advanced General Awareness Training (10 Hour).

All workers involved in the transportation, manufacture, or use of hazardous materials should receive this training.

DOT Hazmat: Hazard Classes and Divisions

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Hazard Classes and Divisions course will familiarize students with each of the 9 DOT classes and their divisions.

These classes are used in the Hazardous Materials Table to identify the types of hazards a material presents. The class of a hazardous material can determine a number of things, including how a material is handled, packaged, stored, and transported.

It is important to understand that some hazardous materials fit into more than one class, which can alter their handling and packaging needs.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Labeling

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Labeling course was developed to help you properly identify hazardous materials based on their label, select appropriate labels according to the hazards of the material being shipped, and complete labels that require entries. This course expands upon the knowledge of labels and labeling received as part of Basic General Awareness and is included in Advanced General Awareness training.

Workers involved in the transportation, manufacture, or use of hazardous materials who require more than basic knowledge of labels should receive this training.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Marking

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Marking was developed to help you properly identify, administer, replace, or in any way be involved in the use of hazardous materials markings. This course expands upon the knowledge of markings received as part of Basic General Awareness and is included in Advanced General Awareness training.

Workers involved in the transportation, manufacture, or use of hazardous materials who require more than basic knowledge of markings should receive this training.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Packaging

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Packaging course was developed to help you select appropriate packaging for hazardous materials before shipment. This course expands upon the knowledge of packaging received as part of Basic General Awareness and is included in Advanced General Awareness training.

Workers involved in the transportation, manufacture, or use of hazardous materials who require more than basic knowledge of Packaging should receive this training.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Placarding

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Placarding course should be taken by any Hazmat Employee involved in the transportation of hazardous materials that may be required to identify, administer, replace, or in any way be involved in the use of hazardous materials placarding. This includes, but is not limited to, Hazmat Employers involved in the carrying, shipment, or manufacture of hazardous materials.

This course will help you properly determine the appropriate placarding for a hazardous materials shipments.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Shipping Papers

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Shipping Papers course was developed to help you properly complete shipping papers for the transportation of hazardous materials.

This course expands upon the knowledge of shipping papers received as part of Basic General Awareness and is included in Advanced General Awareness Training.

Workers involved in the transportation, manufacture, or use of hazardous materials who require more than basic knowledge of shipping papers should receive this training.

DOT Hazmat: Function Specific - Using the Hazmat Table (HMT)

This DOT Hazmat: Function Specific – Using the Hazmat Table (HMT) course covers the many features and uses of the Hazardous Materials Table (HMT) or Hazmat Table.

The HMT is a reference that will allow you to determine packaging, labeling, and many other special requirements for hazardous materials you may be transporting or offering for transport.

It also provides restrictions and redirects you to sections in 49 CFR 172 when additional details on the material you are shipping are required to transport the material safely.

DOT Hazmat: Carrier Requirements - Air/IATA

This DOT Hazmat: Modes of Transportation - Air training is part of the core curriculum for DOT Hazmat transportation training and provides students with training on the DOT's requirements for the domestic and international shipment of hazardous materials by cargo or passenger plane as an air carrier in the United States and in all aircraft registered in the United States anywhere in the world.

All workers involved in the transportation of hazardous materials by air should receive this training. Also, any individual wishing to learn more about HazMat Air transportation would benefit from taking this course.

DOT Hazmat: Carrier Requirements - Highway

This DOT Hazmat: Modes of Transportation - Highway training is part of the core curriculum for DOT hazmat transportation training and provides students with training on the DOT's requirements for the transportation of hazardous materials by highway.

All workers involved in the transportation of hazardous materials using private, common, and contract motor carriers on public highways should receive this training.

Also, any individual wishing to learn more about HazMat Highway transportation would benefit from taking this course.

DOT Hazmat: Carrier Requirements - Rail

This DOT Hazmat: Modes of Transportation - Rail training is part of the core curriculum for DOT Hazmat transportation training and provides students with training on the DOT's requirements for the shipment of hazardous materials by railway.

Students who should take this course are those who are involved in the shipment of hazardous materials by railway. This can include, but is not limited to, workers who package materials for shipment, and load and unload hazardous materials for shipment.

All workers involved in the transportation of hazardous materials by rail should receive this training.

DOT Hazmat: Carrier Requirements - Vessel

This DOT Hazmat: Modes of Transportation - Vessel training is part of the core curriculum for DOT Hazmat transportation training and provides students with training on the DOT's requirements for the acceptance and/or transportation of hazardous materials by most commercial vessels, foreign or domestic, when in the navigable waters of the United States.

All workers involved in the shipment of hazardous materials by water should receive this training.

Also, any individual wishing to learn more about HazMat Highway transportation would benefit from taking this course.

(FRO) Level III Responder

This OSHA 24 Hour Hazardous Materials Technician Online course is designed to meet the OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii) for general industry and 29 CFR 1926.65(q)(6)(iii) for construction, as well as any EPA or State OSHA training requirements.

Hazmat techs are typically members of Hazmat Teams (Spill Response Teams, Emergency Response Teams) that respond to chemical spills. Also referred to as Hazmat Tech, Level III Responder, Industry Tech, or any combination of these terms.

Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Awareness Online with Wallet ID Card

The objectives of the Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness Training are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ANSI Z390.1.

The objectives of this course are to inform workers who may be exposed to Hydrogen Sulfide of the following:

Hazards of exposure;
Symptoms of exposure;
Methods to protect themselves from exposure;
Methods of detecting the gas; and
How to respond to exposure from the gas.

Asbestos
Awareness Online with Wallet ID Card

This Asbestos Awareness course provides students with an understanding of the harmful effects of asbestos, the knowledge to avoid asbestos exposures, and the ability to identify work areas where asbestos may be present. It will also familiarize them with OSHA and EPA standards designed to protect workers on the job site, among many other important topics.

The objectives of this course are to inform students of the dangers of asbestos, industries and locations in which asbestos is common, and inform them of methods to protect themselves from exposure to asbestos. All workers who may be exposed to asbestos on the work site should take this course.

Silica Awareness for Construction Online with Wallet ID Card

The objective of this Silica Awareness for Construction Online course is to provide a general awareness of the risks and the regulatory requirements for protecting employees who work with substances and materials that contain silica, as required by OSHA.

The course will also introduce students to the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations for Construction, Subpart Z, Toxic and Hazardous Substances - 29 CFR 1926.1153.

All workers who may be exposed to silica on the work site should take this course.

Heat Illness Prevention for Employees

The objectives of this Heat Illness Prevention for Employees course are to teach employees how to recognize, prevent, and treat heat stress.

This training course is applicable to the following:

All outdoor places of employment; Agriculture; Construction; Landscaping; Oil and gas extraction; and Transportation or delivery service.
